Job Requirements
- Minimum of three years restaurant or retail experience or combined experience and education
- Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training
- Proven track record of successful hiring and retention
- Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends and some holidays as needed
- ServeSafe certified
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Reinforce Border Foods core values including accountability, integrity, family, excellence, teamwork, and empowerment
- Guide team members and shift leaders ensuring completion of assigned duties and serving safe quality food in a friendly manner
- Schedule and deploy team effectively to meet operational demands
- Monitor team performance and hold members accountable for standards and expectations
- Ensure quality customer experience by driving fast and friendly service
- Maintain point of sale system, report failures, and verify accuracy of updates
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to
- Create unity in the team by building cross functional relationships
- Resolve employee issues promptly and respond to team member questions
- Provide a safe work environment for team and customers
- Handle customer complaints with sincerity and seek effective solutions
- Plan and execute short term and long term strategies for restaurant success
- Utilize P&L statements to deliver profit and adjust financials appropriately
- Source, hire, and develop team members
- Conduct new hire orientation and training plans
- Minimize loss through cash handling policies and proper training
- Manage labor control, inventory control, and waste management
- Build team capabilities by identifying strengths and providing development opportunities
- Provide guidance on career paths and personal development
- Deliver active and timely coaching to team members
- Share ideas and resources to foster growth and success
