- Be at least 18 years old (21 years to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Provide a social security number (US only)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Successfully complete ID verification
- Meet state-specific age requirements where applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with the local area and navigation apps
- Ability to use a smartphone and the DoorDash app
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, groceries, or retail stores
- Deliver orders to customers accurately and promptly
- Use the DoorDash app to manage orders and routes
- Maintain a customer-friendly and professional attitude
- Handle customer and merchant interactions courteously
- Manage cash flow and payments through the DoorDash Crimson platform
- Adhere to local traffic laws and DoorDash policies
