Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 2 years dining room or restaurant waitstaff experience
  • Working knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and employees
  • Previous experience in banquets or special event planning
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Duties

  • Serve all customers with top-level service
  • Assist manager with scheduling waitstaff
  • Keep residents satisfied with dining programs
  • Coach and train new and current waitstaff
  • Foster a strong sense of teamwork
  • Acquaint new residents with dining options
  • Plan menus with manager
  • Build positive relationships with employees, co-workers, and residents
