Job Duties

  • As a Restaurant Cook, you’ll play a key role in preparing high-quality meals, mentoring the kitchen team, and ensuring an efficient, clean, and collaborative cooking environment
  • This is more than cooking, it’s about setting the tone for a positive kitchen culture and guest satisfaction
  • Lead kitchen prep & service: Prepare daily meals and specials
  • manage hot/cold food lines with speed and consistency
  • Mentor the team: Support training and supervision of prep cooks and dishwashers
  • Maintain food quality: Follow recipes, ensure correct portion sizes, and meet food presentation standards
  • Support safety & compliance: Follow all food safety regulations
  • inspect kitchen for cleanliness and organization
  • Oversee kitchen coordination: Communicate with shifts regarding orders, inventory, and special requests
  • Control inventory: Track and restock prep ingredients, rotate food, and minimize waste
  • Take initiative: Jump in where needed whether covering the line, managing closing checklists, or resolving service issues
