Job Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to ten hours
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read and write for communication
  • Possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
  • Willingness to work in all restaurant positions as needed

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
  • Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle stress effectively
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and develop employees
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and inventory management
  • Commitment to company core values and customer service excellence

Job Duties

  • Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
  • Cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
  • Ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
  • Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established by Flynn Applebee's standards
  • Maintains departmental inventory levels
  • Ensures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standards by performing line checks
  • Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
  • Maintains effective safety and security programs
  • Promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation
  • Performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
  • Promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team member and management candidates
  • Promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
  • Helps maintain a trained staff through employment orientation, individual training sessions, employee meetings and policy implementation
  • Participates in employee development using one-on-one and performance documentation
  • Assesses employee efficiency and provides regular feedback
  • Monitors acceptable employee performance and documents disciplinary actions
  • Assures compliance with company policies and legal regulations
  • Controls cost in assigned department
  • Complies with local, state and federal laws and guidelines
  • Drives bi-weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories
  • Prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
  • Assures sanitation standards meet or exceed health department and Flynn Applebee's standards
  • Provides a role model for managers and employees
  • Develops self on store-related technology
  • Willing and able to work in all positions and assist in team member positions as needed
  • Uses Management Development Program for leadership growth
