Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum one to two years of restaurant or kitchen experience required
- Flexible to move to a store within a 50-mile radius
- Able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for up to four hours
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum one to two years of restaurant or kitchen experience
- Food Handler Certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to train and coach kitchen team members
Job Duties
- Assist in all kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, cleaning, storage, and equipment maintenance
- Prepare and cook all menu dishes as needed
- Assist Kitchen Manager in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting hourly staff
- Prepare kitchen employees' weekly schedule and review bi-weekly time cards
- Arrange for repairs and maintenance service on equipment and facilities
- Ensure company standards on food quality and kitchen safety procedures are maintained
- Conduct regular inventory checks, order supplies, and check deliveries with Kitchen Manager guidance
