Job Requirements
- Commercial driver's license B (CDL)
- minimum age of 18 years
- successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screen
- physical examination
- background check including employment and motor vehicle record review
- acceptable driving record
- ability to safely operate heavy-duty vehicles
- ability to follow OSHA, DOT, and local regulations
- no prior experience required

Job Duties
- Operates vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements and company fleet expectations
- performs pre- and post-trip inspections using Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR)
- immediately reports unsafe situations or service calls to management
- participates in trainings, briefings, and meetings as required
- collaborates with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and address problem or unsafe accounts
- performs scheduled duties and assists other drivers as needed
- notifies management of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage
- communicates issues or customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch
- ensures complete dumping of containers and leaves locations clean
- completes and submits customer tickets for excess yardage
- positions containers to ensure lids are replaced, containers are upright, and do not block driveways or traffic
- follows route assignments and completes documentation when checking in at route end
