- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols

Job Duties
- cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
- maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
- identifies and reports the need for repairs and unsafe conditions and responds appropriately in emergencies
- uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
- performs special tasks chargeable to residents upon supervisor instruction
- cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
- uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
- makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled
