Job Requirements

  • ability to pass background checks including fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, and employment references

  • ability to handle physical demands of the job such as repetitive cleaning tasks and standing for long periods
  • basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • availability to work assigned shifts reliably

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • reliability and punctuality

Job Duties

  • cleans scheduled residential units and/or office space and public areas in a proper and professional manner
  • maintains public and common areas of the facility in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition
  • identifies and reports the need for repairs and unsafe conditions and responds appropriately in emergencies
  • uses cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals safely and per instructions
  • performs special tasks chargeable to residents upon supervisor instruction
  • cleans interior and exterior windows on a scheduled basis
  • uses carpet-cleaning equipment and performs carpet care as instructed
  • makes and/or changes resident beds as scheduled
