Job Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • at least 12 months of tractor-trailer experience
  • hazmat endorsement is required and company reimburses costs
  • tanker endorsement is required
  • minimum age of 22 years
  • TWIC card and passport preferred but not required and reimbursed by company

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • minimum of 12 months tractor-trailer driving experience
  • knowledge of hours of service regulations
  • strong safety and compliance record
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to operate PeopleNet technology
  • willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Operate assigned, well-maintained tractors safely and efficiently
  • adhere to short out and back routes to maximize home time
  • comply with hours of service (HOS) regulations for safety and legal compliance
  • maintain communication with live dispatchers 24/7
  • conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • ensure accurate and timely delivery of bulk materials
  • follow all safety and regulatory standards related to hazmat and tanker transportation
