Job Requirements
- Must reside in Central US (Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, or St. Louis metro area preferred)
- Extensive U.S. overnight business travel required (approximately 60%)
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum 10 years sales experience
- Minimum 5 years managerial experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- CRM and sales software experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel frequently
- Ability to lead and influence without direct authority
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent
- Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years sales experience in Door Hardware, Security, or EAC industry preferred
- Minimum 5 years managerial experience with staff direction preferred
- Affiliation with key industry associations such as ASIS, DHI, SHDA, ALOA
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using CRM and industry-related sales software
- Familiarity with vertical markets including Education, Healthcare, Government, Fortune 500, Multi-Family
- Knowledge of ASSA ABLOY products and competitor offerings preferred
Job Duties
- Grow ASSA ABLOY brand sales, brand awareness, and product knowledge
- Shape and execute the Aftermarket channel strategy
- Create demand with local Door Security Solutions sales team and targeted regional customers
- Develop and implement account management plans focusing on product growth, training initiatives, and sales programs
- Provide leadership and training support to Aftermarket Business Development Representatives
- Maintain close working relationships with DSS territory and regional sales leaders and cross-functional teams
- Manage extensive U.S. overnight business travel (approximately 60%)
