Job Requirements

  • Must reside in Central US (Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, or St. Louis metro area preferred)
  • Extensive U.S. overnight business travel required (approximately 60%)
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience
  • Minimum 5 years managerial experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • CRM and sales software experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Ability to lead and influence without direct authority

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or equivalent
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience in Door Hardware, Security, or EAC industry preferred
  • Minimum 5 years managerial experience with staff direction preferred
  • Affiliation with key industry associations such as ASIS, DHI, SHDA, ALOA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using CRM and industry-related sales software
  • Familiarity with vertical markets including Education, Healthcare, Government, Fortune 500, Multi-Family
  • Knowledge of ASSA ABLOY products and competitor offerings preferred

Job Duties

  • Grow ASSA ABLOY brand sales, brand awareness, and product knowledge
  • Shape and execute the Aftermarket channel strategy
  • Create demand with local Door Security Solutions sales team and targeted regional customers
  • Develop and implement account management plans focusing on product growth, training initiatives, and sales programs
  • Provide leadership and training support to Aftermarket Business Development Representatives
  • Maintain close working relationships with DSS territory and regional sales leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Manage extensive U.S. overnight business travel (approximately 60%)
