Job Requirements

  • Must possess at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in administrative or receptionist roles preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to operate multiline phone systems
  • Physical ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
  • Capable of prolonged use of computers and office equipment
  • No travel required
  • Willingness to report suspected privacy violations promptly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous administrative or receptionist experience preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, or government regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite products
  • Skilled in clerical functions and using multiline phone systems
  • Basic mathematical skills such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions

Job Duties

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Greet and welcome patients, clients, and visitors with a friendly and positive demeanor
  • Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls
  • Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
  • Inform other employees of visitors' arrivals and cancellations
  • Maintain visitor sign-in log
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Schedule appointments and maintain meeting room bookings
  • Maintain and tidy the reception area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information and report suspected violations to the Administrator
