Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of relevant work experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • positive attitude and team player mindset
  • ability to follow established policies and procedures
  • willingness to participate in tuberculosis screening program
  • capability to handle routine inquiries and administrative duties
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • 1 year or more of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
  • strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers considered
  • excellent customer service and phone etiquette
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail and highly organized
  • team player with a positive attitude
  • knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • value-based care model experience preferred
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • accommodate visitors promptly and courteously
  • operate a switchboard or multi-line phone system
  • maintain long distance call logs
  • take and distribute accurate messages
  • greet visitors and issue visitor passes
  • maintain visitor logs
  • alert appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors to the appropriate office or employee
  • respond to routine inquiries about location, hours, contact information
  • perform basic administrative tasks such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages
  • adhere to defined work expectations, quality standards, and company policies
  • work under close supervision with minimal deviation
