Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year or more of relevant experience preferably in healthcare or strong customer service environments
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • must be able to perform routine clerical tasks diligently
  • patient facing role requiring tuberculosis screening
  • positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • One year or more of experience in a healthcare setting preferred but strong customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers accepted
  • excellent customer service skills
  • good phone etiquette
  • team player with positive attitude
  • ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • attention to detail
  • highly organized
  • knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
  • value-based care model experience preferred
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
  • bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • accommodate visitors by greeting and directing or issuing visitor passes
  • maintain long distance call logs and take accurate messages
  • respond to routine inquiries about the organization
  • book meeting rooms and organize mail
  • type and perform other clerical tasks as needed
  • handle courier packages and other miscellaneous administrative duties
