Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completed a secretarial science program or have minimum six months clerical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions when required
- Knowledge of post acute care facility laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Ability to implement department goals, policies, and procedures
- Proficient in patient rights, safety, and sanitation
- Ability to maintain professional relationships and confidentiality
- Understanding of company policies including harassment and compliance
- Ability to display integrity and professionalism and complete compliance training
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university OR have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
- Ability to implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- Understanding and following company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory compliance training
Job Duties
- Service as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
