Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • experience in healthcare or related field beneficial
  • must meet employment requirements following a criminal background check per Minnesota Department of Human Services
  • proficiency with computer systems and office equipment
  • ability to perform duties independently
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • must adhere to professional dress code
  • ability to participate in trainings and quality improvement

Job Qualifications

  • experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, or assisted living is beneficial
  • proficiency with computer systems and office equipment
  • ability to perform job duties independently and efficiently

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff professionally
  • manage incoming phone calls and visitor inquiries with courtesy
  • schedule and communicate resident transportation
  • file medical records, copy admission papers, maintain necessary forms, serve as backup for the Health Information Director as needed
  • provide administrative support to department directors including phone handling, correspondence, supply ordering, mail processing, assistance with resident follow-ups and admissions
  • maintain confidentiality, communicate respectfully, adhere to dress code, promote a professional and welcoming environment
  • attend required training and in-services, participate in audits, maintain knowledge of health regulations, support quality improvement initiatives
  • uphold customer service standards, support inclusivity, foster a welcoming and supportive work environment
