Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in customer service roles preferred
- Basic computer and typing proficiency required
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations required
- Completion of MOAB de-escalation training within 120 days of hire required
- Must adhere to dress code policy
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have approved exemption
Job Qualifications
- Completion of four years of high school is preferred
- Good computer and typing skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) de-escalation training within 120 days of hire
- Ability to adhere to dress code policy
- Maintain calm composure under pressure
- Fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or exempted by signed statement
Job Duties
- Greet visitors and answer routine questions
- Answer phone calls and transfer callers appropriately
- Maintain records and process paperwork assigned to the information desk
- Stock supplies and provide guidance to volunteers
- Handle visitation process from inception to completion ensuring visitors have photo ID
- Maintain calm composure when dialing emergency codes
- Provide wayfinding assistance and manage heavy phone traffic
