Job Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
  • Experience or training in dental office practices preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry insurance or business preferred
  • Knowledge of office practices technology applications and patient insurances
  • Energetic self-starter with the ability to set realistic goals meet commitments and prioritize

  • Detail-oriented data driven decision-maker proficient in computer operations
  • Understanding of profit drivers utilize metrics and local market competition

Job Duties

  • Model company culture values standards and best operational practices
  • Support the perfect patient experience by facilitating patient arrivals and ensuring patient comfort
  • Schedule appointments for healthcare providers to maintain an efficient schedule
  • Interact and communicate with patients and guests during wait times
  • Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently
  • Complete all daily tasks on the front office checklist
  • Post payments to patient accounts following company policies
  • Serve as subject matter expert in practice management system for patient registration and e-check in
  • Efficiently manage patient check-in and notify back office of arrivals with relevant information
  • Confirm all patient appointments at least two days in advance
  • Return and resolve all patient messages from the contact center in a timely manner
  • Participate actively in daily huddles and team meetings
  • Understand and impact business metrics through operational knowledge
  • Uphold and demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand framework
  • Support clinician efforts in patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor according to company policies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
