Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Experience or training in dental office practices preferred
- Proficiency in computer and practice management systems

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior course work or on-the-job training in dentistry insurance or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices technology applications and patient insurances
- Energetic self-starter with the ability to set realistic goals meet commitments and prioritize
- Flexible and empathetic patient advocate with ethical standards
- Detail-oriented data driven decision-maker proficient in computer operations
- Understanding of profit drivers utilize metrics and local market competition
- Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle and maintain extreme confidentiality with patient records
- Self-motivated and reliable individual capable of teamwork and independent work
- Organized individual able to perform in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Model company culture values standards and best operational practices
- Support the perfect patient experience by facilitating patient arrivals and ensuring patient comfort
- Schedule appointments for healthcare providers to maintain an efficient schedule
- Interact and communicate with patients and guests during wait times
- Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently
- Complete all daily tasks on the front office checklist
- Post payments to patient accounts following company policies
- Serve as subject matter expert in practice management system for patient registration and e-check in
- Efficiently manage patient check-in and notify back office of arrivals with relevant information
- Confirm all patient appointments at least two days in advance
- Return and resolve all patient messages from the contact center in a timely manner
- Participate actively in daily huddles and team meetings
- Understand and impact business metrics through operational knowledge
- Uphold and demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand framework
- Support clinician efforts in patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor according to company policies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory bodies
- Perform other duties as assigned
