Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • Support the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) process by assisting patients to enter the office and ensuring their comfort during visits
  • Schedule appointments to ensure each healthcare provider has a smooth and productive day
  • Communicate and interact with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
  • Answer telephones promptly and handle calls efficiently and thoroughly
  • Complete all daily front office checklist tasks
  • Post payments to patient accounts according to company policies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in practice management system for patient registration, e-check-in, and account information accuracy
  • Efficiently manage patient check-in, obtain necessary consents, and notify back office of patient arrival with pertinent information
  • Confirm all patient appointments in accordance with office policies at least two days in advance
  • Return and resolve all patient messages received from the Contact Center timely
  • Actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and required meetings
  • Understand business imperatives and how role impacts metrics
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions aligned with the Brand framework
  • Support clinicians in patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant state, federal, and regulatory bodies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
