Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED required
  • must be 18 yrs. or older to apply

Job Qualifications

  • All applicants hired by Ben E. Keith Beverages are required by the State of Texas to obtain two TABC licenses
  • ability to learn and use relevant internal computer applications
  • ability to use 10-key by touch preferred
  • basic computer skills preferred
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • good oral and written communication skills
  • ability to participate well in a team environment
  • must be highly motivated and results oriented with strong attention to detail
  • must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • must be able to read and write English

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming calls
  • perform routine data entry
  • perform basic bookkeeping activities
  • maintain office records
  • assist with research projects
  • attend meetings as required
  • provide administrative and clerical support wherever needed
  • ensure that the BEK administrative requirements are performed accurately and in a timely manner
  • fill in for office manager or administrator as needed
  • prioritize multiple, competing priorities
  • perform job duties in a manner that protect employee and company confidentiality
  • project a friendly, professional image at all times
  • perform other administrative duties as assigned
