Job Duties

  • Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Accommodate visitors promptly, courteously, and accurately
  • Operate switchboard or multi-line phone system
  • Maintain long distance call logs
  • Take and distribute accurate messages
  • Greet visitors, issue visitor passes, and maintain visitor logs
  • Alert appropriate party of visitor arrivals or direct visitors to appropriate location
  • Respond to routine inquiries about organization’s location, hours, phone numbers, and email
  • Perform administrative tasks such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages
