Job Requirements
- Valid state issued driver's license
- Current FAA A&P license
- Knowledge of EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, and maintenance support
- Proficient in document execution to comply with policies and regulations
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with maintenance tracking programs
- Good judgment concerning aircraft safety
- Ability to work after-hours and flexible schedules
- Computer skills including Adobe and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to learn Repair Station manuals and FAA regulations
- Ability to support on-call and travel as needed
Job Qualifications
- Valid FAA A&P license
- Strong communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in ensuring compliance with GMM policies and 14 CFR regulations
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance tracking programs
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and vendors
- Strong analytical and judgment skills regarding aircraft safety
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including possible after-hours or on-call support
- Willingness to gain thorough knowledge of Repair Station Company Manual System and FAA regulations
- Preferred: Repairman Certificate
- Preferred: Relevant quality assurance experience in a 14 CFR Part 135 and/or Part 145 Certified Repair Station
Job Duties
- Reviewing Repair Station work order forms and associated documents for accuracy and completeness in accordance with manuals and regulations
- Generating aircraft major alteration and repair document packages
- Performing research of regulatory guidance and collaborating with FAA designated engineers and manufacturers
- Auditing aircraft maintenance records and generating repair station work orders
- Performing detailed quality reviews prior to aircraft return to service
- Notifying aircraft owners/operators to remove aircraft from service if documentation errors are identified
- Assisting with removal and segregation of unapproved aircraft components and parts
- Supporting aircraft return to service processes after maintenance or alterations
- Assisting with aircraft acceptance inspections after major maintenance or modifications
- Supporting depot maintenance bases and maintaining state-of-the-art avionics and EMS medical equipped fixed wing aircraft
- Performing other duties assigned by Repair Station Manager or Chief Inspector
