Job Requirements

  • Doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) degree
  • Board certification or eligibility in pulmonology
  • Valid medical license to practice in Arkansas or ability to obtain one
  • Experience in pulmonary medicine or relevant fellowship training
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to participate in teaching and mentoring
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Board certified or board eligible in pulmonology
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience with robotic bronchoscopy technology preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Teaching experience or interest in medical education

Job Duties

  • Provide comprehensive pulmonary care to patients
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including the ION robotic bronchoscopy platform
  • Collaborate closely with hospitalist and specialty teams
  • Precept and mentor medical students and residents
  • Document patient encounters using Epic electronic medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Engage in community outreach and education
