Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance
  • IVP (Identity Verified Print) fingerprint clearance card
  • Ability to attend scheduled meetings and training
  • Ability to follow recipes and food preparation guidelines
  • Capability to operate point of sale systems
  • Availability to work on a 180 day annual calendar

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Attend meetings for conveying or gathering information
  • Clean kitchen and associated areas to maintain sanitary conditions
  • Cook breakfast and lunch foods following recipes and nutritional guidelines
  • Estimate food preparation amounts using production records
  • Evaluate prepared foods for quality and adherence to standards
  • Operate point of sale system to secure funds and count meals
  • Prepare food and beverage items for special events and daily meals
  • Record payments and manage financial transactions accurately
  • Report equipment malfunctions for maintenance
  • Serve required food items meeting nutritional needs
  • Stock food, condiments, and supplies maintaining adequate quantities
