Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in related fields preferably in non-profit or educational institutions
  • experience with project management and event planning
  • proficient customer service skills
  • strong oral and written communication skills
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel
  • ability to lift and carry event materials up to 25 pounds
  • willingness to work in a hybrid setup with at least two days in office weekly

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional setting in a related field, preferably a non-profit or educational institution
  • project management, planning events, and/or virtual event technology experience
  • customer service experience
  • high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • CRM software and project management software experience preferred
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • strong planning, organization, and administrative skills
  • ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients and constituents of diverse backgrounds
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • ability to take initiative, demonstrate engagement in projects, and meet deadlines
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining discretion, tact, poise, professionalism, and diplomacy

Job Duties

  • participate with program and project teams in the research, design, development, and implementation of engagement initiatives
  • serve as a project coordinator by drafting agendas, attending team meetings, and documenting proceedings
  • work collaboratively with teams to review and sign off on marketing pieces
  • assist with the preparation of event material, collateral, and other event details
  • provide on-site support during program and event execution
  • provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients
  • build and maintain positive relationships and work collaboratively to advance university objectives
