Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food service line cook or lead cook experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to follow, read, and write recipes
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred
- Serv Safe or equivalent certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare all foods and related items for cafeteria, catering, and patient meals
- Ensure food production follows recipe specifications and proper procedures
- Monitor and record food temperatures and holding times
- Maintain sanitation, safety, cleanliness, and food storage standards
- Serve customers and provide excellent customer service
- Meet all production deadlines and cost control measures
- Minimize food waste through proper portioning and substitutions
