Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of global experience in logistics, international trade, and customs compliance
  • 5+ years experience as a process improvement manager or similar role
  • certification in project management
  • knowledge of lean, six sigma (green or black belt) or kaizen
  • in-depth knowledge of customs regulations, HS classification, import/export documentation, incoterms, and free trade agreements
  • ability to work across cultures and time zones in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
  • degree in supply chain management, international business, logistics, or a related field preferred
  • experience with global ERP systems (D365, o9) preferred
  • systems orientated and proactive
  • advanced computer skills in microsoft office (word and excel)
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication and presentation skills in english
  • ability to sit/stand and work on a computer for long periods
  • occasional domestic and international travel may be required

  • advanced computer skills in microsoft office (word and excel)
  • experience with data analysis tools and statistical software

Job Duties

  • Accountable for end-to-end process transformation across logistics and customs
  • Strategic leadership of continuous improvement initiatives that align with organizational goals
  • Work strategically with other regions to align strategic processes and goals
  • Shape the direction of departments in line with business goals
  • Work cross functionally to ensure logistics/customs teams understand short and long-term business goals
  • Spearhead cross-functional project teams to achieve process improvement goals
  • Record and communicate changes to processes ensuring transparency
  • Lead global projects focused on optimizing logistics, transportation, and customs clearance
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean, six sigma, or other methodologies
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics to uncover gaps, risks or inefficiencies and address these
  • Partner with global logistics providers, customs brokers, and internal teams to streamline international trade operations
  • Collaborate with IT and digital transformation teams to enhance trade compliance systems, automation, and data visibility
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure internal stakeholders understand trade requirements
  • Create standardized global SOPs and governance models for logistics activities
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks within projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
