Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior event coordination experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Physical ability to move around event venues and stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Four-year degree from a college or university preferred
  • One year experience in a similar position in arenas, convention centers, stadiums, or theaters preferred
  • Ability to work flexible and demanding schedules including nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong multitasking and leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle conflicts and motivate staff effectively

Job Duties

  • Communicates all event information to appropriate departments and staff
  • Develops, implements and manages events
  • Ensures event set-ups are accurate
  • Communicates with department heads regarding event needs
  • Prepares and distributes event data sheets
  • Coordinates with Private Events Director to facilitate client needs and provide cost estimates
  • Prepares and submits expenses for event settlements
  • Assists Private Events Director with event details and team communication
  • Executes other operational duties as assigned
