Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience in food preparation and cooking
- food handling certificate or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- ability to lift 25 lbs or more
- strong communication skills
- commitment to child safety and hygiene

- 1+ year of experience in food preparation and cooking
- possesses a food handling certificate or ability to receive one within 90 days of hire
- ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
Job Duties
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals for children that meet proper nutritional requirements
- ensure the safety of all children by maintaining and tracking food allergies and communicate these daily to teachers
- adhere to proper food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures
- partner with Center Leadership to purchase all necessary food and supplies and keep inventory records
- provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards parents and children
- listen and communicate effectively with the childcare team
- demonstrate flexibility to meet the daily business needs of the childcare center
