Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to complete all required job trainings and assessments within prescribed time
- Food Service experience preferred
- Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) preferred
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Flexible to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures including drug-free workplace policy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.

- Passion for and experience with fresh food
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare food items consistently
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and team collaboration
- Experience with inventory management and temperature control
- Ability to operate and maintain food preparation equipment
- Comfortable adapting to new digital tools and technology
- Customer service orientation
- Basic understanding of nutrition and food handling.
Job Duties
- Ensuring high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area
- Ensuring shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products
- Preparing and serving ready-to-eat food
- Maintaining the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages
- Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- Utilizing digital tools to improve sales and associate engagement
- Driving the performance of the area including stocking, rotating merchandise, and eliminating waste
- Assisting customers according to company policies and procedures
- Executing food preparation according to item specifications and adhering to food safety standards
- Operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment
- Being an advocate for the department and modeling high-quality service and products
- Complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Completing tasks and priorities by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- Communicating progress and recommending improvements.
