Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Washington State Food Workers Card
  • At least one year of experience in restaurant or deli environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Availability to pass background and reference checks

  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work within deadlines
  • Creative merchandising and display skills
  • Comprehensive product knowledge with experience training team members
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and Department of Health guidelines
  • Leadership skills including delegation and follow-through
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service and communicate product information to increase sales and meet revenue goals
  • Assist Team Leader with ordering products and maintaining product inventory
  • Achieve all food preparation guidelines including recipe compliance and portion control
  • Develop and maintain product displays that influence customer buying trends
  • Manage store-level vendor relations and participate in product promotions
  • Maintain stocking standards including rotation and cleaning procedures
  • Prevent loss, conduct physical inventories, and practice inventory control
  • Remove outdated products daily and restock according to guidelines
