Job Requirements

  • Six months experience in a fresh production department or six months experience supervising a team
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired

Job Duties

  • Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments including café, rotisserie, and prepared foods areas
  • Facilitate rotations through different fresh areas and manage member needs to deliver on the business plan
  • Communicate department goals and execute company programs adhering to policies
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of floor and backroom operations ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance
  • Manage seasonality and new product introductions by prioritizing time effectively
  • Collaborate with associates and third parties to provide necessary resources and training
  • Leverage digital tools and handheld technology to plan sales, improve shopping experience, and engage associates
  • Drive business results by planning for profitability, maintaining cleanliness and safety, staffing appropriately, and ensuring compliance
  • Teach, train, and develop the team while encouraging career growth and sourcing new talent
  • Implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with stakeholders
  • Promote compliance with company policies and ethics, addressing any issues promptly
  • Lead and participate in teams, sharing resources, providing support, and adapting to change
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusiveness, integrity, customer service, and excellence.
