Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
- ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs
- able to work on feet for 8+ hours
- strong communication skills
- ability to grasp and reach overhead
- flexible availability for shifts including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Job Duties
- follow prep lists created by chefs
- label and stock all cooking ingredients
- complete tasks in order from head chef or kitchen manager
- wash, chop, and sort ingredients
- measure quantities of seasonings and cooking ingredients
- adhere to nutrition and sanitary regulations and standards
- keep track of ingredient inventory and coordinate resupply
- learn cooking methods and techniques
- ensure food items are properly stored and accessible
- supervise food and cooling room temperatures
- maintain clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen
- assist chefs in preparing food and culinary tasks
- execute techniques under direction of sous and executive chefs
- prepare and cook food according to recipes and standards
- operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers
- ensure appliance and food temperatures are correct
- set up and break down workstation
- wash and disinfect kitchen tools and equipment
- follow company safety and security policies
- maintain quality expectations and standards
- responsible for care and maintenance of dish machine
- maintain clean supply of dishware, utensils, and cookware
- uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in dish area
- other duties as assigned
