Job Duties

  • maintain an appropriate personal hygiene level
  • understand and follow proper sanitation practices in all working environments
  • wear a clean presentable uniform at all times
  • follow instructions and accurately read understand and prepare recipes
  • learn general operating knowledge of all kitchen equipment safely and correctly
  • learn general knowledge of proper cleaning of all kitchen equipment and areas
  • practice safe working habits at all times
  • understand the proper safe storage of all food items
  • set up various cooking stations for lunch dinner and banquet operations
  • maintain professional and courteous communication with team members and guests
  • focus mainly on preparation of ingredients for cooking
  • assist chefs cook level 2s and cook level 3s with all kitchen needs
