Job Duties
- maintain an appropriate personal hygiene level
- understand and follow proper sanitation practices in all working environments
- wear a clean presentable uniform at all times
- follow instructions and accurately read understand and prepare recipes
- learn general operating knowledge of all kitchen equipment safely and correctly
- learn general knowledge of proper cleaning of all kitchen equipment and areas
- practice safe working habits at all times
- understand the proper safe storage of all food items
- set up various cooking stations for lunch dinner and banquet operations
- maintain professional and courteous communication with team members and guests
- focus mainly on preparation of ingredients for cooking
- assist chefs cook level 2s and cook level 3s with all kitchen needs
