Job Description
The role available is that of a Food Service team member within Atria Senior Living’s kitchen staff, where the primary focus is on supporting food preparation and meal presentation to residents in their community setting. This full-time position provides a vital link to maintaining excellent customer service in dining experiences and supporting culinary professionals such as Executive Chefs and Sous Chefs. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handlers permit as required by provincial law/local/state and/or Company standards
- Serv safe certification
- Ability to follow recipes and production guides accurately
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, cooking and service
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Effectively read, write and communicate in English with residents and other employees

Job Duties
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programs
- Maintain kitchen in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times
- Adhere to cleaning schedules as assigned
- Ensure that all food is received, stored, and prepared according to company standards
- Assist cook with preparation and presentation of meals and snacks in accordance with Company recipes and production guides
