Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior groundskeeping or maintenance experience
- strong communication skills
- ability to read and follow instructions
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely use hand and power tools
- ability to work under time constraints
- valid government-issued ID or driver's license if required
- willingness to adhere to company safety policies and procedures
- availability for occasional after-hour emergency coverage
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in groundskeeping or maintenance preferred
- ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- basic understanding of safety protocols and OSHA standards
- ability to read and follow instructions
- willingness to learn and accept various tasks
- limited computer literacy acceptable
- possession of a government-issued ID or valid driver's license if required
- physical ability to lift, move equipment and climb ladders safely
Job Duties
- practice OSHA standards and company safety policies
- water plants and newly planted foliage daily
- mow, trim, fertilize, and rake lawns
- trim shrubs, tend to flowers, and pull weeds
- spray insecticides and maintain watering systems
- paint exteriors and pick up litter daily
- clean and maintain exterior light fixtures and replace bulbs
- install and maintain fences and gates
- assist with pool care and equipment upkeep
- assist with emergency maintenance and after-hour emergencies
- perform scheduled maintenance on equipment
- pressure wash and blow walks and breezeways
- communicate daily with supervisors
- report property or resident issues
- maintain professional appearance and uniforms
- ensure storage areas are secured
- assist in custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning windows
