Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience preferred
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
- ability to work under time constraints
- ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds
- possess government issued state ID or valid driver’s license if required
- excellent attendance
- ability to communicate effectively with supervisors
Job Qualifications

- prior housekeeping or porter experience preferred
- knowledge of OSHA safety standards
- ability to read, write, and speak English

Job Duties
- practice OSHA standards and company safety policy and stay aware of work-safety requirements
- continue education of safety training as required by company and/or State and Federal law
- complete a hazard assessment form before beginning any task
- assist other team members when necessary
- complete make ready cleaning checklist and submit to Community Manager
- clean all common areas at least once per day
- clean and monitor restrooms twice per day for cleanliness and inventory
- care and maintain cleaning equipment and inventory
- maintain frequent verbal and written communication with supervisor
- report unusual circumstances regarding property, co-workers, or residents
- maintain professional appearance and required property uniform
- water potted plants daily and newly planted foliage as directed
- perform grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, raking, weeding, watering lawns and plants
- paint building exteriors, pick up litter and trash daily, clean exterior light fixtures and replace bulbs
- maintain fences, gates, and pool areas
- assist with emergency maintenance and after-hours fire watch
- perform scheduled equipment maintenance as recommended
- pressure wash and blow walks and breezeways
- participate in emergency standby schedule
- secure storage areas and maintain adequate lighting
- assist with custodial work including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash
- maintain all equipment according to guidelines
