Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years' experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience
  • Ability to deal with a heavy workload
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work different shifts including night, weekends, holidays
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • On-time attendance and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Follow established rules of the facility for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and observe security precautions as mandated by facility management
  • Comply with company implemented sanitation Standard Operating Procedures including the company's HACCP Plan and Good Manufacturing Practices which maintains the company's compliance with USDA regulations
  • Clean and sanitize all interior areas within the facility and external property
  • Handle the disposal of all waste products
  • Ensure that spills are promptly mopped up and floors are kept dry and decreased to minimize slips and falls due to wet floors
  • Use proper detergents and degreasing solvents to maintain a safe working environment for all production areas and maintain use and proper storage of sanitation chemicals and equipment
  • Sanitize all restrooms and areas of common personnel traffic, including walls and floors
