Job Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand during entire shift
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, stir, pour, carry, and push
Ability to read order tickets, menu boards, and receipts
Frequent contact with water, cleaning and sanitation solutions, and food products
Frequent hand washing
Availability to work flexible shifts and weekends
Must adhere to company uniform and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service or customer service is an asset
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
Demonstrates strong teamwork and leadership potential
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
Ability to learn and apply company policies and procedures

Job Duties

Protects and promotes the Whataburger Brand at all times
Notifies management with sufficient lead time when unable to report to work as scheduled
Recognizes and communicates customer service problems to the manager on duty
Demonstrates Whataburger's Family Value Proposition, pride, care, and love
Ensures all products are prepared according to quality standards and delivered within service time standards
Supports food production through preparation and stocking of food items as directed
Performs maintenance tasks as scheduled or assigned
