Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must complete Restaurant Manager training classes
- Must be ServSafe certified
- Ability to speak read and write English effectively
- Minimum 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager or 3 years managing a service concept with full P and L responsibility
- Valid driver’s license insurance and use of personal vehicle
- Ability to perform basic math
- Ability to stand and walk 85 to 95 percent of the shift
- Ability to lift and carry 10 to 65 pounds
- Ability to operate restaurant equipment and computer
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with initiative
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma G E D or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as Associate Manager or 2 years as First Assistant Manager for internal candidates
- Minimum 3 years managing full P and L responsibility service concept for external candidates
- ServSafe certification required
- Completion of Restaurant Manager training classes
- Ability to speak read and write effectively in English
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Knowledge of basic math concepts
- Proficient with personal computers and software applications
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Job Duties
- Recruits selects trains develops and evaluates restaurant employees
- Monitors staffing levels and implements employee training systems
- Creates an employee-friendly fun clean and safe environment
- Motivates and inspires employees to achieve high performance
- Ensures all facets of the Service Profit Chain are executed
- Manages daily restaurant operations to achieve guest service and food quality excellence
- Responds professionally to guest concerns and complaints
- Maintains restaurant cleanliness maintenance and brand image
- Analyzes operational and financial performance and implements improvement plans
- Focuses on increasing sales and profitability while adhering to budgets
- Utilizes Popeye's systems processes and tools
- Complies with labor laws and regulations
- Provides timely performance feedback and coaching
- Demonstrates high ethical standards and promotes company values
- Effectively manages conflict and challenging situations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
