Job Requirements

  • minimum of three years practical experience in relevant trades
  • possession of required licenses
  • ability to perform heavy physical work including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • capacity to stand walk bend stretch twist and reach for prolonged periods
  • ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels
  • willingness to work long hours and in varying indoor outdoor conditions
  • fluency in English preferred
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to climb stairs and respond quickly in emergencies

Job Qualifications

  • practical experience in one or more technical trades such as HVAC refrigeration plumbing electrical
  • trade school or related college coursework preferred
  • good communication skills
  • fluency in English preferred
  • previous customer service or hotel experience preferred
  • valid licenses required by the property
  • ability to work with tools and maintenance equipment

Job Duties

  • perform skilled maintenance and repair for the property including HVAC electrical and plumbing work
  • respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies arising during shifts
  • assist other departments when needed
  • follow the hotel’s established safety and security policies and procedures
  • anticipate problems and communicate with management
  • maintain the physical plant with minimal disruption
  • ensure a safe secure and comfortable environment for guests and coworkers
