Job Requirements

  • Four or more years of experience
  • Wok experienced preferred
  • High volume experience
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, grasp, and lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays except specified days
  • Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Four or more years of professional cooking experience
  • Experience with wok cooking preferred
  • Proven proficiency in knife skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high volume kitchen environment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Experience following food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Reset and restock the line during lunch and dinner transition
  • Perform minor prep projects including fine knife work projects
  • Provide a pleasant dining experience to customers
  • Serve plates by reviewing recipes, assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients up to restaurant standards
  • Maintain a sanitary kitchen
  • Attend to detail and presentation of each order
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Ensure kitchen operation standards including cleaning, organization, and teamwork
  • Adhere to personal hygiene and safe food handling guidelines
