Job Requirements

  • stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break
  • ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects
  • ability to climb ladders
  • ability to lift loads up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs unassisted
  • employment contingent upon successful background check

Job Qualifications

  • 3 years experience as a cook
  • knowledge of proper rotation principles
  • ability to ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition
  • ability to open and close the kitchen properly
  • ability to assist with checking refrigeration points and ensure temperature logs are accurately filled out
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • detail-oriented multitasker who can delegate tasks as needed
  • passion for cooking and desire to learn

Job Duties

  • Provide fast and courteous service to the guest
  • Perform proper food safety and sanitation
  • Demonstrate good knife skills
  • Be self-motivated
  • Keep the entire kitchen clean and in excellent working condition
  • Able to receive deliveries, stock shelves, coolers, and properly rotate product
  • Sweep and mop the floors on a daily basis
  • Wash dishes as needed
  • Prepare, heat and serve all the components of the daily menu
  • Prepare and drop off catering orders
