Job Requirements
- Hs diploma or equivalent preferred
- must have a valid class a driver's license or a diploma from an accredited driving school
- valid medical examiner's card
- must have the hazmat endorsement or be able to obtain the endorsement within 90 days of being hired
- must be at least 21 years or older
- strong background in gas, welding and safety supply industry or chemical industry preferred
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- detail-oriented

- prior experience in the gas, welding and safety supply industry preferred
- forklift experience preferred
- warehouse experience preferred
- touch freight delivery experience preferred

Job Duties
- Loads and unloads gas cylinders and/or other products onto and off route trucks when needed
- handles high-pressure, medical and liquid cylinders
- prepares high pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling
- performs basic cylinder maintenance such as inspecting, painting and labeling cylinders
- checks for cylinder quantities, styles and product, and/or assists with inventory
- complies with all government and company standards relating to the safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases
- maintains a neat, clean and orderly plant appearance
- safely loads, delivers and unloads cylinders containing compressed gases to customer's place of business
- establishes and maintains good customer relations
- listens to and helps resolve service inquiries and complaints
- performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections documenting deficiencies and ensures all safety items are in good working order
