Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for the required vehicle type
- Meet commercial driver qualification requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- No relocation offered for this position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous delivery driving experience
- Strong oral and written communication ability
- Commitment to follow all safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment
- Self-starter who can take initiative and work without direct supervision
- Willingness to attend required training sessions
Job Duties
- Pickup and deliver new and retreaded commercial tires, casings, wheels, and mounted wheel assemblies between Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers locations, customers, and Goodyear dealers
- Maintain and build customer relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Assist with loading and unloading commercial tires and related products while following all safety rules and procedures
- Complete necessary documentation upon delivery including DOT logs
- Provide excellent service aligned with Goodyear's 'Service Excellence - Always' mission
- Keep all documents and maintenance records up to date on assigned equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Perform manual tasks including lifting heavy tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods
