Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for the required vehicle type
- Must meet commercial driver qualification requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- No relocation assistance offered
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to follow safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous delivery driving experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Self-starter with initiative and ability to work without direct supervision
- Willingness to attend training sessions
Job Duties
- Pick up and deliver new and retreaded commercial tires, casings, and other tire products between Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers locations, customers, and dealers
- Maintain and build customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with loading and unloading commercial tires, casings, wheels, and mounted wheel assemblies following all safety rules and procedures
- Complete all required documentation related to deliveries
- Provide service excellence to meet the service goals of the location and customers
- Keep documents and maintenance records, such as DOT logs, up to date for assigned equipment
- Perform manual tasks including lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
