Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license for the vehicle type required for this position and meet commercial driver qualification standards
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
- No relocation assistance available
- Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Commitment to work safely and follow all safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willingness to attend required training sessions
Job Duties
- Pick up and deliver new and retreaded commercial tires, casings, and other tire products between Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center locations, customers, and dealers
- Maintain and build customer satisfaction through effective relationship management
- Assist in loading and unloading commercial tires, casings, wheels, mounted wheel assemblies, and related products while adhering to safety protocols
- Complete all required documentation associated with deliveries
- Provide excellent service consistent with Goodyear's 'Service Excellence - Always' mission
- Keep equipment maintenance records and DOT logs up to date
- Perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
