Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one plus year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- valid food handlers certificate required upon hire
- excellent communication skills
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- maintain an appropriate volume of plates on the conveyor belt at all times in consultation with managers
- monitor the length of time dishes are on the conveyor belt during quieter services ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items specials and ingredients and explain these to other staff members
- prepare and serve dishes following company recipes ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- respond to customer queries positively and politely
- monitor portion and waste control following existing control measures
- keep your section clean and tidy throughout service
- receive deliveries and maintain correct food storage following first in first out stock rotation protocol
- inform senior staff of stock that needs to be ordered timely using existing systems
- support senior staff in creating and maintaining a positive calm working environment
- communicate service-related issues to senior staff promptly
- maintain excellent timekeeping
- maintain high standards of personal hygiene
- maintain a proactive attitude and use initiative helping other team members when time allows
- maintain rigorous standards of hygiene cleanliness and safety
- complete daily temperature records and health and safety checklists
- ensure adherence to all h&s policies including haccp
- dispose of waste according to company guidelines
- familiarize yourself with relevant equipment procedures for use safety care and maintenance
- highlight maintenance issues to senior staff
- perform other duties as requested by senior staff
