Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in pet care, hospitality, restaurant, or related service industry
  • business degree or equivalent General Manager-level experience
  • ability to manage revenue and profit
  • strong professional references
  • knowledge of budgeting and cost control
  • basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • physical ability to lift over 40 pounds and stand for long periods
  • residence within 10 miles of Corpus Christi
  • availability to work holidays, every other Saturday, and be on-call based on operational needs

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in pet care, hospitality, restaurant, or a related service-focused industry
  • business degree or 5+ years of General Manager-level experience managing revenue
  • proven history of career progression with strong professional references
  • solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • knowledge of how daily operations impact profit and loss
  • basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
  • ability to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periods
  • must live within 10 miles of the Corpus Christi location

Job Duties

  • Provide direct leadership to the management team and indirect leadership to all staff
  • drive maximum client satisfaction while meeting profit and performance goals
  • oversee financial operations including payroll, cash handling, receipts, productivity, supply costs, and operating expenses
  • analyze staffing needs and plan appropriate compensation and scheduling levels
  • lead hiring, scheduling, onboarding, and training in compliance with company standards and legal requirements
  • develop and coach department managers
  • foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • anticipate operational challenges and proactively correct system or process breakdowns
  • ensure facility safety, sanitation, preventive maintenance, and security standards are met
  • maintain excellent care standards for pets and exceptional service for clients
  • step in and assist with any role as needed to support team success
