Job Requirements
- class a commercial driver’s license required
- ability to operate delivery truck safely under various road conditions
- strong customer service orientation
- reliable and able to work independently
- physical ability to handle loading, unloading, and merchandising tasks
- ability to work a schedule from 6 am to 3 pm
- no prior experience required for local delivery routes
- must be legally authorized to work in the united states
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or general education degree preferred
- ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence
- effective verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers
- basic math skills including ability to calculate percentages and perform basic algebra and geometry
- ability to apply common sense understanding to execute instructions
- ability to perform electronic and manual data entry
- must meet company driver qualifications
Job Duties
- drives truck to deliver beverage products to customers on established routes in compliance with federal and state regulations
- works without direct supervision
- effectively resolves customer complaints
- communicates customer issues to supervisor
- records delivery, buy back, and variance information daily
- rotates displays, coolers, and back stock to ensure freshness
- operates hand trucks and electric pallet jacks
- displays merchandise attractively on shelves and sales floor
- arranges products according to management-approved plans
- constructs or assembles point of sale display materials
- places price and descriptive signs
- cleans shelves, coolers, and display structures regularly
- transfers product between stockroom and displays to maximize sales and comply with sell by dates
- collects empty containers or unsold merchandise
- conducts and supervises truck loading and unloading
- secures truck loads
- obtains customer signatures for deliveries and pickups
- cleans inside of truck and performs daily truck inspections and maintenance
- wears company-provided safety devices and uniform
- performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
