Job Description
Ned's Club Washington DC is a prestigious members' club located in the heart of the U.S. capital, Washington, District of Columbia. Nestled within a historically significant neoclassical building—the Riggs Building at 734 15th Street NW—this venue combines rich heritage with modern luxury and hospitality. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in human resources within hospitality or a related industry
- Proven ability to recruit and retain top hospitality talent
- Demonstrated experience in training, talent development, and succession planning
- Strong knowledge of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles and practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with Washington, DC employment laws and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
- Proficiency in HR software and data management
- Flexibility to work some weekends as required
Job Qualifications
- Experience with hospitality service training and developing others in the service industry
- Possess Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training experience and ability to collate data and reporting to track and monitor key DEI statistics
- Unquestionable knowledge of the employee relations landscape
- Preferably membership of SHRM and knowledge of Washington, DC employment legislation and guidelines
- Previous Human Resources experience in hospitality or restaurants
- Ability to build relationships and network within the local and global community
- Track record of finding top talent and identifying untapped recruitment streams
- Ability to work office hours (9am to 6pm) with some weekends when needed
Job Duties
- Partner with the Director of People and Development to foster a culture of care, empowerment, ownership, and creativity
- Carry out People and Development directives and initiatives established by the Director of People and Development and the Ned’s Club Leaders
- Recruit for top hospitality talent and own the recruitment process
- fill our teams with the best talent available and create positive candidate experiences
- Assist Leaders with talent development, succession planning and personal development initiatives for our teams
- Build relationships with a variety of local and international recruitment representatives and resources to support career opportunities for all qualified candidates
- Create and drive a learning culture for our team in collaboration with our managers to include Orientation, Service Training, Safety Training, Personal Development, and DEI
- Help to support The Ned and Ned’s Club employer brand and employee value proposition to ensure we are seen as the best place to work in hospitality
